Welcome to the website of the Irish Pony Society, the governing body for all official showing activities for ponies in Ireland.
From Lead Rein and First Ridden, to Show Ponies, Show Hunters, Working Hunters and In-Hand classes for breeding and youngstock, the Irish Pony Society oversees some 100 shows and hundreds of classes across Ireland throughout the year.
The two main shows are held in the spring and summer each year, namely the Spring Championship Show and the Summer Championship Show. This year the IPS Celebrates its Diamond Jubiliee from 1964-2024.
