Interested in becoming a member of the IPS?
We would be delighted to welcome you as a Member – why not try out the IPS first by attending a few of our Shows through our Daily Membership Scheme? You may compete at up to three shows before having to decide whether or not to become a full member. Should you decide to join, any vouched daily membership subscriptions (from the same season) will be deducted from your annual subscription (Membership Application Form below). Pony Life Registration can now be completed online.

- Email a pdf scan of passport to info@irishponysociety.ie
- PDF must include the following pages, front cover, registered name, microchip/UELN page, markings page, ownership page, breeding/pedigree page, measurement page.
- Once all documents are in order a label for passport and letter confirming registration details will be posted out to the address on application form.
If you are unable to complete payment online or email a scan of passport as above please download the Pony Life Registration Form and submit to IPS office, along with a copy of passport and relevant fee.
Please ensure that the details of ownership in the passport are correct before submitting to the IPS Office.

If you are unable to pay online, please return the following to the IPS Office:
Completed Membership Application Form Membership Form. (Must be at least one adult member – over 18 yrs on 1st January of current year accompanying a junior membership application). A copy of Birth certificate/passport for first-time junior member(s) must be emailed to office info@irishponysociety.ie
Please note that, although we would request that you renew your membership by beginning of January, subscriptions will be accepted after this time. Members attending early IPS events, including training held under IPS insurance, and those who have not renewed their subscription by the date of the event, must pay daily membership. Any further queries on this matter, please contact the office.
Showing Records may also be paid for online at www.itsplainsailing.com/club/ips. One card will be issued per pony.
A pony must have a showing record:
1. To be in the running for points awards at the end of the year.
2. As proof of measurement.
3. Compete at IPS Summer Championship Show.
In order for a showing card to be issued, a pony must be registered/overstamped to the Irish Pony Society and must have a current year or final measurement attained at a recognised SJI measuring centre. Dates and venues may be obtained from the SJI website or Facebook page or by contacting SJI on 045-842300.
